Cookie Policy at the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Organization «National Center of Grain named after P.P. Lukyanenko» (FSBSO «NCG P.P. Lukyanenko»)



This Cookie Policy of the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Organization «National Center of Grain named after P.P. Lukyanenko» (FSBSO «NCG P.P. Lukyanenko») (hereinafter referred to as the Policy) defines the terms and conditions for processing cookies collected and processed by the FSBSO «NCG P.P. Lukyanenko» (legal address: 38 Akademika Lukyanenko st., Krasnodar, Krasnodar Krai, 350 012, e-mail kniish@kniish.ru, telephone (861) 222−69−15) (hereinafter referred to as the Center) when Users visit and use Internet websites with the domain names «ncz-russia.ru», «https://journal-ncz.ru», «https://kuban.ncz-russia.ru», «https://nphkalinina.ru», «https://korenovskoe.ru» and «https://kubansev.ru», or the owner of which is the Center (hereinafter referred to as the Website).

By visiting the Website and accepting this Policy by clicking the «Accept» button (or any other button that allows the User to confirm the fact of acceptance of this Policy), the User expresses their consent to the processing of cookies under the terms and conditions set out in this Policy.

1. Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this Policy, the following terms are used:
Analytics Service — a web analytics tool that allows tracking User behavior on the Website;
User — an individual who has visited and used the Website;
Website — an internet site with the domain name «ncz-russia.ru», «https://journal-ncz.ru», «https://kuban.ncz-russia.ru», «https://nphkalinina.ru», «https://korenovskoe.ru» and «https://kubansev.ru»;
A cookie is a small text file sent by a web server and stored on a computer, mobile phone, or any other internet-enabled device when visiting the Website. Each time a page of the relevant website is opened, the User’s web client (web browser) sends the specified text file to the web server as part of an HTTP request to provide the web server with information about the User’s online actions or preferences. To ensure the security and safety of the User’s data, the User’s web client (web browser), as a rule, does not transfer cookies intended for one website to other resources. For the purposes of this Policy, «cookies» hereinafter also include any other similar technologies. Detailed information on the types of cookies used is set out in Section 2 of the Policy.
IP address is a unique network address required to locate, transmit, and receive information from one network node to another.

2. Information about types of cookies and their content
2.1. The Center may use the following types of cookies:
2.1.1. Essential cookies which are required to ensure the proper functioning of the Website and provide the services requested by the User. Such services may include selecting the country and language, maintaining login status, ensuring security and preventing fraud, and accessing secure areas of the Website. This category of cookies cannot be disabled. 
2.1.2. Analytical (performance) cookies are cookies used to collect information about how the User uses the Website (e.g., information about the web browser used by the User, when using the Website, etc.). These cookies help us improve the quality and user experience of the Website; improve navigation on the Website to make the Website more user-friendly and responsive to the User's needs; correct technical errors as they arise and ensure the security of the Website.
2.2. Cookies may contain technical information transmitted by the User's device, including the User ID; identifier of the equipment and modules installed on it; IP address; MAC address; information about the equipment, device (equipment type; information about the hardware binding to the software (SW); technical configuration of the device; information about the operating system; information about the location (country, city) of the User's device); information about the software (software version; software identifier, usage parameters (including time), statistics on the use of software functions; date and time of the last update); data on the speed of the incoming/outgoing connection; information about errors occurring in the operation of the software/software components (type and kind of error; time of occurrence of the error; identifier of the software and/or task during the operation of which the error occurred); logs; number of pages viewed; duration of stay on the Website; queries that the User used when switching to the Website; pages from which the transitions were made; information about the User's actions using the Website; other technical information transmitted by the device. 
The information that may be contained in cookies depends on the type of cookie, the device used by the User, the software on the User's device, and the Website with which the User interacts.

3. Purposes of Cookie Processing:
3.1. To promote goods, works, and services on the market, the Center processes cookies through the Website for the following purposes:
3.1.1. Ensuring the full and correct functioning of the Website and storing User's settings;
3.1.2. Ensuring the security of the Website;
3.1.3. Developing products and services, including the process of development, modernization, and improvement;
3.1.4. Carrying out analytical, statistical, and other types of research, including through the use of large volumes of structured and unstructured data ("big data"). 

4. How the Center processes cookies
4.1. The Center may process cookies using automated tools through the following actions (operations): collection, recording, systematization, accumulation, storage, clarification (updating, modification), retrieval, use, transfer (provision, access), depersonalization, blocking, deletion, and destruction.
4.2. The Center processes cookies from the date the User accepts this Policy/begins using the Website until the stated purposes of cookie processing are achieved or until the User refuses to process cookies, taking into account the validity periods ("lifetimes") of cookies.
The processing of the essential cookies required for the functioning of the Website is carried out automatically from the moment the User begins using the Website and does not require separate consent in accordance with paragraph 2 of Part 1 of Article 6 of the Federal Law No. 152-FZ "On Personal Data". 
The Center processes analytical cookies only after receiving the User's explicit and informed consent, which may be expressed:
by activating the appropriate interface element (checkbox) in the cookie consent form;
by confirming consent in a pop-up window upon first visiting the Website.
The User has the right to independently choose which categories of optional cookies may be processed.

5. Who may cookies be transferred to, and who may the Center engage to process cookies?
5.1. The Center informs the User, and the User agrees, that, to achieve its stated goals, the Center may use third-party Analytics services (e.g., the Yandex.Metrica web analytics service, etc.), and transfer (if necessary, cross-border transfer) cookies to the owners of Analytics services with whom the Center has concluded relevant contracts and/or agreements.   
5.2. To process analytical cookies, the Center uses a third-party web analytics service, Yandex.Metrica, provided by Yandex LLC, 16 L. Tolstoy st., Moscow, 119021, Russia (hereinafter referred to as Yandex).
Yandex.Metrica uses cookie technology.
5.3. The Center reserves the right to transfer cookies across borders in the course of its activities. When transferring cookies across borders, the Center undertakes to comply with the requirements of Article 12 of the Federal Law No. 152-FZ "On Personal Data."    

6. Cookie Security
6.1. The Center takes all necessary technical, organizational, and legal measures to ensure the protection of User's data (including cookies) from unauthorized or accidental access, destruction, modification, blocking, copying, distribution, and other illegal actions.
6.2. The Center's technical security measures are implemented taking into account the requirements of applicable law, the current state of technology, the nature of the information processed, and the risks associated with its processing.     

7. How to Opt Out of Cookies
7.1. Essential cookies are required to ensure the proper functioning of the Website and to ensure its security. This type of cookie cannot be disabled, but the User can delete it after using the Website. To manage cookies using the web browser or device used, please follow the instructions provided by the browser developer or device manufacturer.   
7.2. Cookies are stored on the User's device; the Center cannot delete them. The User can manage cookies independently by following the instructions applicable to the User's device and web browser. If the User is on a Website operated by the Center, the User can also prevent cookies from being stored on the User's device by setting their web browser accordingly. Browser cookies have a limited shelf life. However, similar technologies, such as local storage on the User's device, do not have a built-in self-deleting system after a certain period of time, and therefore the files must be deleted by the User.
