Lukomets Vyacheslav Mikhailovich is a leading scientist in the field of crop production, breeding and seed production of agricultural plants. He has made significant contributions to the practical implementation of his scientific ideas on rational agricultural management, improving crop productivity, and soil fertility. His research results have been published in over 270 scientific and educational works, including 27 monographs, 42 production guidelines, 17 patents and 23 copyright certificates for plant breeding achievements, 6 patents for utility models, and 8 patents for inventions.
Lukomets V.M. is a highly professional manager and a skilled organizer of research and production activities. He has encouraged studies in new research areas, including the study of short-rotation of crops and the development of environmental passports for new varieties and hybrids of oilseed crops. A material and technical base has been established for the production of high-quality seeds for domestically produced grain, legume, and oilseed crops.
